The park entrance is conveniently located above a reservoir and is a great place for a picnic in the summer months, the tracks were built and maintained by the Te Miro mountain bike club and offer a variety of terrain for all levels of mountain bike riders the tracks are also suitable for kids.

Although not intended for walking as the tracks can be slippery when raining and the fact that bikes are present on the tracks, they do offer a great walk through native bush you just need to be on the look out for mountain bikes one of the tracks named Big Willy circles around the reservoir and back to the car park and is a great short walk.
